Our HS&E Committee is open to all members and meets quarterly, with regular presentations and updates on the latest best practice, and as a confidential forum for members to troubleshoot and issues they may have on their own projects.
Our Concrete Frame Training Forum (CFTF) committee meetings are run quarterly and all members can attend. The sessions provide the latest updates on CITB, card schemes, funding, qualification & training development and an opportunity to share best practice between members.
We also convene sub-committees that help shape guidance documentation, standards etc. These have included:
- Formwork Training Standards
- Edge Protection Guidance Development
- Temporary Works (Concrete Specialist) Training Standards
- Form-Ties Guidance Development
In 2021, we will also be convening a Groundworks committee, for those members that also undertake projects with this activity, with the aim to provide a forum for best practice exchanges, guidance creation etc.
