CFTF Training Group

Attendance and input at the Concrete Frame Training Forum (CFTF) meetings is open to all contractor members; our supplier members and other outside bodies are welcome to attend in relation to training provision issues. The CFTF is also supported by  Jan Rejek, CITB Advisor, – Cambridge & Peterborough Strategic Partnership – London & South

The CFTF Training Group meets on a quarterly basis to:

  • Discuss and pursue good practice
  • Identify shortfalls in training and the provision of training
  • Understand and communicate the availability of grants and funding
  • Promote apprenticeships and qualifications

The CFTF Training Group committee members for 2019-20 are :

The aims and commitments of the Concrete Frame Training Forum are to:

  • Co-ordinate facilities and tuition to train members employees
  • Continue to improve liaison and co-ordinate with specialist training providers for specific work-related skills
  • Provide support and co-ordinate assistance to members wishing to undertake craft training and assessment to levels 2
  • Promote levels 3, 4 and 5 for Supervisory and Management
  • Promote the industry and our sector in order to recruit and train apprentices
  • Increase the value of grant claim back in respect of training and qualifications undertaken by members
  • Provide industry views and raise issues for consultation via representative attendance at Build UK Training Committee meetings
  • Identify and source training and development needs within the sector
