Lemon Groundwork Solutions supply cut and bent steel reinforcement, prefabrication, and groundwork materials to the whole UK. Lemon Groundwork Solutions have been UK CARES certified for over 20 years and are a FORS accredited company.
As part of the welcome our General Manager Ian Burnett visited Lemon Groundwork Solutions at their Wickford depot and Baltic Wharf Rochford depot.
At the Wickford depot Ian met up with the Sales Manager Hayley Milbank and HSQE team James Gleadell & Alex Thompson who gave Ian a guided tour where Ian was able to see all operations including use of stirrup bending machines and multi-rotor straightening and bar shaping machines and gantry cranes.
At the Baltic Wharf Rochford depot Ian was given a guided tour by the Operations Director Jack Morris where he was able to observe pile cage fabrication on a large scale.
Jack talked about the SUPERLATCH® system, which has been developed to aid in the construction of reinforced concrete piles, which Lemon Groundwork Solutions have chosen to use as they remove the need for workers to place their hands inside the cages providing a safety solution while speeding up the operation.
Lemon Groundwork Solutions hold ISO 45001 Certification in Occupational Health & Safety Management demonstrating that they have implemented improvement of occupational health & safety performance, reduction of work-related accidents and the protection of the company reputation.
They also hold certification ISO 9001 for the Integrated Quality Management System and products, BES 6001 Sustainability and ISO 14001 striving to achieve net zero emissions by 2050.
