CONSTRUCT Golf Day Raises £3,450 for the Lighthouse Charity

CONSTRUCT members once again demonstrated the strength and generosity of our industry at this year’s CONSTRUCT Golf Day, raising an outstanding 3,450 for the Lighthouse Charity, the only charity dedicated to supporting the emotional, physical and financial wellbeing of construction workers and their families.

The funds were raised through a combination of the charity auction, the ever-popular Heads and Tails competition, and the generous decision by competition winners to donate their prize money back to the charity. The incredible support shown throughout the day reflected the industry’s commitment to making a real difference beyond the workplace.

While the golf provided plenty of friendly competition and networking opportunities, the event also served as a reminder of the importance of supporting the people who make our industry what it is. Every pound raised will help the Lighthouse Charity continue providing vital mental health support, financial assistance and wellbeing services to construction workers and their families when they need it most.

CONSTRUCT would like to thank everyone who attended, donated prizes, took part in the fundraising activities and contributed so generously. The success of the day was only possible thanks to the continued support of our members, sponsors and volunteers.

Together, we have shown that our industry is about far more than building structures, it is about supporting people. We are proud to have raised 3,450 for such a worthwhile cause and look forward to building on this success at future CONSTRUCT events.
